The 31st running of the City of Melbourne Title will be held over the weekend of August 1st and 2nd.

12 classes are on offer and racers will get Qualifying and 48 laps of racing (2 heats, pre-final and final).

Entries are being taken on the KA:CMS now. Entries close Monday 27th July 2015.

Please find attached a flyer from Vic Roads regarding road closures and access to GKCV this weekend.

Additional signage will be displayed so that participants can access the track. Traffic operators will be informed of our meeting this weekend and will assist where possible.

Please inform Traffic operators you are going to the Go Kart Track and you will be let through any closures.

Members please note that an update to the Australian Karting Manual can now be downloaded.

The most important of these changes is the update that now allows the Rotax EVO engine and components to race in the TAG and TAG restricted classes. Weights in these classes have been adjusted accordingly.

The track will be closed to all members for private practice next Monday 18th May 2015 from 7am to 6pm – track has been booked for a private function.

Track will re-open for practice 8am Tuesday 19th May 2015.

Please find attached below the sup regs for May Club Day. This Club day will be run in a Clockwise direction i.e. up the hill. The track will be available for practise in this direction from 8am Saturday 23rd May 2015.

Entries are currently open on the KA:CMS.

IKD have again put the offer up for a set of tyres at this Sunday's Club Day (26th April). The only requirement is that at least 12 entries race!

If at least 12 turn up the tyres will be drawn at random so you don't have to get on the podium to win some tyres. We had 12 at the first club day so just by turning up and racing you could win a brand new set of Mojo's.

If you do intend on racing please pre-enter on the KA:CMS - pre-entries close Wednesday night but entries will still be taken on the day.
